Inc42 Media is on the hunt for a News Editor who is more than just a journalist. We're looking for a seasoned storyteller with a knack for business writing, a flair for editorial leadership and passion for the startup economy. Reporting directly to the Editor-in-Chief(Pooja Sareen), you'll be the linchpin in our news production process.

What You'll Do?
• Editorial Planning: Collaborate with senior editors to craft daily, weekly, and monthly content rosters.
• Trendspotting: Monitor feeds and identify trends to shape the day's editorial agenda.
• Quality Control: Edit, validate, and fact-check stories to ensure they meet our rigorous standards.
• Team Development: Train your team to break exclusive stories, dive deep into subjects, and conduct insightful interviews.
• Newsletter Management: Curate compelling newsletters and coordinate with senior teams for execution.
• Innovation: Brainstorm new story formats, series, and themes to keep our content fresh and engaging.
• Team Well-being: Ensure roster optimization and maintain a happy, high-performing team.
What We Are Looking For?
• Experience: 3+ years in startup/tech reporting or business writing.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Journalism/Mass Communication or equivalent.
• Tech Savvy: A genuine passion for and understanding of tech and startups.
• Global Awareness: Well-versed in global tech, digital, and startup trends.
• Language Skills: Exceptional command over language.
• Journalistic Integrity: Strong grasp of news reporting basics and structures.
• Market Insight: The ability to understand the tech landscape and foresee upcoming trends
