Position: News Lead - Global
Republic is on the lookout for an editorially astute, mature, driven, innovative, passionate news hound to lead its Global News Team on Digital.
The ideal candidate must have
- At least 8 years of work experience in a mid-senior level editorial role in the domain of Global News on digital.
Must be thoroughly well-versed in global affairs, must have a deep understanding of geopolitics and must demonstrate a sharp perspective on all matters relating to international affairs.
Must have prior experience in innovating on content, leading teams, strategizing on angles and being very strong in SEO.
All applicants are mandated to demonstrate a successful record of target setting and achievement. While the prior experience of working on video formats is not mandatory, it will be given weight.
The ideal candidate must be a self-driven individual who is excited to lead and work in a fast-paced environment of 24x7 news.
