Your key responsibilities
• Creation and Analysis of weekly, monthly and quarterly group reports based on operational risk framework components (Events, RCSA, Actions, Key risk indicators)
• Review and challenge Risk type controllers (RTC), Divisional control officers (DCO) for appropriate commentary/rationale on month on month deviations/ changes in their risk profile
• Engage with relevant RTCs, business ,DCOs for Risk event reporting, Key risk indicators etc to enable access and report key operational risks.
• Support the Portfolio risk management team in London in preparation of senior risk committee packs, taking minutes of council meetings, preparing agenda for meetings and any other governance activities
• Prepare reports and analyse Group top risks, Divisional top risks to proactively identify existing and emerging top operational risks
• Adhere to principles of Risk data Aggregation and reporting (RDARR) and support activities related to RDARR governance to ensure compliance with BCBS23+
• Carry out investigations, reconciliations and analysis to explain trends, outliers, peaks etc
• Initiation of and cooperation in improving existing processes as well as independent implementation of new processes
• Coordinate and respond to enquiries from business divisions and operational risk managers
• Support on ad-hoc requests from the businesses, portfolio risk management team
• Cooperation regarding enquiries from auditors and regulators and able to handle any queries raised by them
