Position Overview:
The Night Auditor ensures the smooth and secure overnight operation of the hotel, delivering exceptional guest service while managing front desk duties and completing the nightly audit process. This role supports our commitment to providing experiences that go beyond expectations.
This is a full-time position with a minimum guaranteed hours of 40 hours per week. This is a night shift position starting at 11pm and finishing at 7am.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a warm and professional welcome and farewell to guests.
Efficiently manage check-in/check-out and process guest transactions.
Complete the night audit and reconcile daily revenue accurately.
Respond promptly and empathetically to guest requests and complaints.
Maintain communication with the Night Manager and other departments.
Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and WH&S standards.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in front office or night audit roles (preferred).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in hotel systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Must have current New Zealand working rights.
