We are looking for a friendly Guest Services Agent/Night Audit to undertake front office duties at Four Points by Sheraton London.

The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. You should be able to deal with complaints and give accurate information. A customer-oriented approach is essential. The goal is to make guests and visitors feel comfortable and valued while on our premises.

Key Responsibilities

Specific

Responsible for completing the night auditing procedures with a consistently high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

The preparation and distribution of daily reports.

Responsible for security overnight in the hotel when on shift.

Any additional tasks deemed reasonable by the Front Office Manager.

Checks guests in and out of the property accurately and in a timely manner.

Greets all guests that encounter Guest Relations ensuring that the guest’s name is used at all times.

Handles guest enquiries and provides information on local attractions and gives directions as required.

Takes reservations as required in the absence of the Reservations Supervisor.

Answers all telephone calls in a professional friendly manner.

Equips the front desk at the commencement of each shift with the adequate stationery and forms.

Records guest comments for the information of the Front Office Manager.

Sets up guest accounts accurately.

Reconciles cashier floats at the completion of each shift maintaining an accurate float.

Documents all transactions and alterations to accounts.

Communicate with team members on the following shift to ensure continuity of service.

Always maintains the cleanliness and the presentation of the front desk.

Collects payment of accounts and issues receipts accordingly.

Processes facsimiles as required.

Always maintains team member dress and grooming standards.

Ensure room audits are carried out accurately and daily.

Carries out any additional duties assigned by the Front Office Manager or management team.

Requirements

Canadian Resident

Minimum of 20 hours per week

Proven experience as front desk representative, agent or relevant position is an asset

Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer etc.)

Proficient in English (oral and written)

Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)

Strong communication and people skills

Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities

Problem-solving skills

Customer service orientation

High School diploma: additional qualifications will be a plus

Reliable transportation
