The opportunity
Delaware North New Zealand are seeking a casual Night Auditor to join our team at Pinewood Lodge in Queenstown, New Zealand. As a Night Auditor, you will ensure efficient and accurate reporting of lodge accounts, oversee evening front office operations, and exceed guest expectations by delivering outstanding service. What will you do?
Welcome guests upon arrival, assist with luggage when needed, provide support throughout their stay, and build strong rapport by resolving any complaints in a courteous and effective manner
Assist the Front Office Manager and Duty Managers with lodge operations, manage phone queries, and ensure venue security
Monitor reservation reports to ensure preparation for occupancy levels
Ensure all transactions are processed whilst adhering to the security procedures
Clean public areas such as the reception and office, as well as guest rooms, including collecting soiled linen for laundering
More about you
Minimum 6 months experience working in a night audit or front office position within a hotel or lodge environment, delivering high levels of guest service
Proven experience with hotel operating systems
Maintain professional grooming and appearance, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills to ensure quality guest service
Availability to work night shift hours on a rotating roster
