Duties and responsibilities:
Night Auditor Responsibilities:
Reconcile and complete all daily front desk agents' work.
Balance cash transactions from the previous shift.
Track all credit card transactions and perform the batch closing procedure.
Verify all account postings and balances.
Summarize operational results and prepare reports for management.
Ensure the well-being and safety of each guest, committing to the highest standards of service to guarantee guest loyalty.
Register guests, process their arrivals and departures, and take required payments.
Manage guest profiles daily, coordinate room assignments, and handle pre-arrivals.
Answer and take reservations over the phone in a professional manner.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer service fulfillment.
Stay updated on hotel developments by reviewing and updating the logbook.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Houseperson Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in all public areas, including lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and other common areas.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of guest floors and hallways.
Provide assistance to guests in a friendly and helpful manner.
Respond to guest requests and deliver items promptly.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Shuttle Driver Responsibilities:
Transport guests safely to and from the property, ensuring the safety of luggage.
Ensure the shuttle vehicle is clean, fueled, and ready for the next shift, reporting any malfunctions immediately.
Maintain a courteous and professional attitude while interacting with guests.
Keep the shuttle vehicle interior and exterior clean.
Assist guests with luggage handling and ensure a smooth and comfortable ride.
Report any vehicle issues or safety concerns to management immediately.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Friendly, authentic, caring, and thoughtful personality.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Punctual, energetic, and able to work under pressure.
Competent computer skills for Night Auditor duties.
Must possess an excellent driving record for Shuttle Driver responsibilities.
Ability to communicate effectively with both guests and co-workers.
Previous hotel experience is an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00-$17.50 per hour
