Night Kitchen Porter - London

As a Night Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our kitchen operations during the night shift. You will collaborate closely with the Night Chef to ensure a seamless and efficient kitchen environment, preparing it for the morning team. Responsibilities:
• Support the Night Chef by completing all necessary tasks with speed and precision, ensuring the kitchen is ready for the morning shift.
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and sanitising surfaces.
• Assist in monitoring and replenishing kitchen supplies and inventory as needed.
• Work cohesively with the night team, ensuring clear communication and a smooth handover to the morning staff.
• Address any issues that arise during the night shift, finding effective solutions promptly.
What you Need:
• Previous experience in a similar role within a high-paced kitchen environment.
• Meticulous and thorough in maintaining cleanliness and completing tasks.
• A genuine interest in food and kitchen operations.
• Strong ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
