Night Manager

We like to lead from the front. So, we’re looking for a Night Manager who sets their own high standards across everything from cleanliness to productivity. You’ll champion our ‘one team’ approach to make sure you and your team deal effectively and efficiently with all guest complaints, queries and suggestions.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different in hotels, but you'll mostly be:

Overseeing the night audit functions

Maintain correct guest information against registration cards

Review & monitor early morning wake-up calls and related procedures

Review all audits and reconciliation of daily sales transactions, balancing all electronic payments and interface transactions reporting discrepancies

Handle guest situations in a professional manner and ensure appropriate follow-up

All night audit, night Duty Manager and Night Porter shift duties are completed to the required standard in a timely manner

Reviewing arrival lists and allocations to anticipate guest needs

Staff supervision in absence of HOD or delegate

What we need from you?

Minimum 2 years' front desk/guest service leader experience

Fluent in spoken and written English

Basic mathematical skills

Excellent communication, problem solving, reasoning and motivational skills

Working knowledge of hotel property management systems like Opera would be advantageous to the role

The ability to work the shift of 11:00pm - 7:30am with some weekends included

Certifications/Qualifications:

Level 2 First Aid Certificate will be held in high regards

Bachelor's degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Management/Business Administration is preferred but not essential

A valid Managers Certificate & LCQ
