The Purpose of this Role:
As a Night
Receptionist/ Porter, you
will work with the Nights team to assist with all guest requests overnight.
Your passion and personality along with your knowledge of the hotel and the
local area will create a lasting memory for our guests.
Salary - £23,7+5.20
Role Responsibilities:
To
ensure that all guests are warmly greeted and offered assistance with their
luggage with a high level of genuine hospitality
To
be able to advise guests of directions to and information on, all rooms and
hotel facilities
To
ensure that the entrance to the hotel and frontage are free from litter and the
glass doors / lobby area are kept clean and tidy
To
ensure that all messages/parcels are delivered to guests as quickly as possible
To
assist in the booking of taxis for guests to ensure that drivers are helped to
locate relevant guests
To
be able to assist our guests with directions to local attractions / train
station, airports etc.
To
help guests with any in-room queries such as air-conditioning controls and
television system
To
ensure that the outdoor areas are set-up during summer months and that you are
confident in the operation of these facilities
The Ideal Candidate:
The right person will have a
positive attitude; enjoy working with people and good communication skills. Previous experience in
hospitality or a similar role would be an advantage but is not essential for
this role; it’s more about your attitude, enthusiasm and wanting to learn.
