Due to the continuous success and growth of our business, we have an exciting newly created opportunity to join our Brighton Support Office team as a Nike VM & Retail Marketing Lead.

The role:
Reporting to our Nike General Manager, you will be responsible for partnering with Nike and our store teams to create and execute compelling VM and Retail Marketing initiatives for our customers that deliver a premium in-store experience and commercial success. With an exciting growth plan, this role will be a key member of the Nike trade leadership team at RPG.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Deliver a premium, consistent store presentation aligned with Nike’s brand standards across all locations, enhancing and elevating the customer experience.
Play a key role in new store openings; leading both VM and Retail Brand initiatives for RPG.
Working with Nike brand team and RPG buying team to deliver seasonal VM directives and merchandising standards that support commercial goals. Partnering with field teams on best practice VM execution.
Hiring and training support for our field VM coaches, including but not limited to; recruitment and hiring processes, workshops and training materials to support induction and ongoing development of these roles across our stores.
Participate and support promotional planning alongside Nike leaders. Partner with CRM lead to drive in store traffic.
Manage and oversee Nike marketing costs in line with budget.
Establish and lead a culture of VM excellence, using a data driven approach.
Ensure strong store visitation to support and learn from execution. This includes travelling interstate and to NZ quarterly or as required with new store openings.
The successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following:
5+ years Retail VM leadership experience, preferably in multi-site retail.
Proven and demonstrated experience in retail or trade marketing
Proven track record in building and managing collaborative relationships with multiple stakeholders
Creative and analytical thinker with the ability to align VM & retail marketing execution with commercial objectives
Previous experience working on new store projects
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to train and influence store teams.
