Node js developer

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Node.js Developer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on

experience in designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications using Node.js. As a

Senior Node.js Developer, you will be a key member of our development team, responsible for

creating high-performance, scalable, and robust web applications.

Responsibilities:

1. Application Development:

- Design, develop, and implement server-side logic using Node.js, ensuring high performance,

scalability, and reliability.

- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

- Build efficient and reusable code, following best practices and design patterns.

2. API Development:

- Create and maintain APIs for various functionalities, ensuring seamless communication between

front-end and back-end systems.

- Implement RESTful APIs and ensure they are well-documented for easy integration by other

teams or third-party developers.

3. Database Management:

- Design and optimize database schemas using both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB,

PostgreSQL).

- Write efficient and optimized database queries to retrieve and manipulate data.

4. Performance Optimization:

- Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the application, including optimizing code,

queries, and server configurations.

- Monitor application performance and proactively implement improvements to ensure optimal

user experience.

5. Code Review and Mentorship:

- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding

standards.

- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers, promoting skill development

and knowledge sharing.

6. Troubleshooting and Debugging:

- Investigate and diagnose complex issues in the application, identifying root causes and

implementing effective solutions.

7. Collaboration and Communication:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA testers,

to deliver high-quality software products.

- Communicate technical concepts and challenges effectively to both technical and non-technical

stakeholders.

8. Continuous Learning:

- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Node.js and related technologies, and

recommend their adoption when relevant.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Node.js application development.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js, including asynchronous programming and event-

driven architecture.

- Experience with popular Node.js frameworks such as Express.js.

- Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.

- Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL databases and ability to write optimized queries.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.

- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React,

Angular) is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards tackling technical challenges.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to ₹45,000.00 per month
