Leadership role in an Emerging Startup company based in North Bangalore.
Full time onsite role or part time remote role to build and lead Node.js Mern Stack team
Note:
This role shall begin with Equity + Tokens and Salaries will kickstart as the company scales with revenues and funding. Please apply only if serious about creating a new venture.
- Design and Develop Microservices and expose the functionalities as Restful APIs
- Work and coordinate with Co-founders and understand the business requirements
- Work and coordinate with mobile engineers for mobile app integration with the backend APIs
- Produce quality deliverables and be keen for continuous improvements
- 8 to 15 years experience in Backend and APIs development
- Experience in the following tech stack and technologies :
a) NodeJs, Fastify framework and Rest API concepts or Reactjs UI API Integrations
b) MySQL, MongoDB
c) AWS, Lambda, SNS, SES
d) Docker and Microservices design
e) Web3 exposure Solidity
Responsibilities
• Manage, coach, and support engineering team
• Create a technical strategy and budget proposal
• Implement and monitor technical strategy performance metrics
• Communicate engineer team goals with engineering staff members
• Coordinate internal teams to ensure project timelines and budgets are met
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related field of study
• NodeJs, Fastify framework and Rest API experience
• 8+ years' of management experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

The Person In This Role Will Be Responsible For :
- The full software lifecycle from planning, development and testing all the way through testing, training and production customer support.
- Participation in cross-functional projects from conception through deployment.
- Prioritizing and multitasking simultaneous projects while helping to increase revenue.
- Writing high-quality code, participating in code reviews, designing/architecting systems of varying complexity and scope, and creating high-quality documentation supporting the design/coding tasks.
- Participating in internal projects that help scale the organization, implement best practices, and improve our methodology.
- Filing patents as appropriate.
Experience :
- Expert-level knowledge of application design and coding techniques, as well as a thorough understanding of installation, testing methodologies and troubleshooting techniques including interacting with client support, working with clients and solving client issues.
- Familiarity with build automation, git branching and continuous integration desired.
- Experience creating and documenting public APIs and creating publicly available SDKs a plus.
