Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain server-side applications using NodeJS.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, write unit tests, and maintain high code quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues as needed.
Key Skills:
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and NodeJS.
• Experience with ExpressJS or similar NodeJS frameworks.
• Proficiency in database technologies like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience in writing RESTful APIs and working with third-party APIs.
• Good understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML5 and CSS3 (basic understanding).
• Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git.
