Position : Node.js + Postgres Programmer

Experience: 2-4 years
Qualifications : MSc / MCA / BE / BSc : IT or Computer Science
Responsibilities:
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and
other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
● Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and PostgreSQL, ensuring
efficient performance, scalability, and reliability.
● Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following coding standards and
best practices.
● Optimize database queries and implement data models to ensure efficient data retrieval
and storage.
● Implement and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between frontend
and backend systems.
● Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across the application stack.
● Utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration, deployment, and scaling of applications.
● Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to
continuously improve the development process.
● Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers when necessary.
● Collaborate on architectural decisions to ensure the scalability and maintainability of the
application.
● Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work
experience.
● 2-4 years of professional experience in backend development using Node.js and
PostgreSQL.
● Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js, including asynchronous programming,
event-driven architecture, and familiarity with npm packages.
● Solid understanding of PostgreSQL database design, query optimization, and data
modelling.
● Experience with version control systems like Git and collaborative development
workflows.
● Familiarity with software testing methodologies and writing unit tests.
● Working knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment.
● Optional: Knowledge of Angular and Nest js is a plus.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.
● Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
● Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to a fast-paced
development environment.
● Understanding of security best practices in application development.
● Prior experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.
