We are seeking a skilled North Indian Chef to join our dynamic team and contribute to our culinary excellence.

Job Summary:

The North Indian Chef will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes that reflect the rich culinary traditions of North India. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of North Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques. The chef will ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Menu Planning and Development: Develop and design an authentic North Indian menu that includes a variety of dishes such as curries, tandoori items, breads, and desserts.Introduce seasonal and special dishes to keep the menu exciting and dynamic.

Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook a wide range of North Indian dishes with a focus on taste, presentation, and authenticity. Utilize traditional cooking methods and equipment, such as tandoors and clay ovens. Ensure all dishes are prepared according to the restaurant's recipes and standards.

Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen. Monitor food stock and ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients. Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients and finished dishes.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and smooth kitchen operations. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on North Indian cooking techniques and recipes. Collaborate with the management team to develop and improve menu offerings.

Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that all dishes meet customer expectations in terms of taste, presentation, and timeliness. Handle customer feedback and make adjustments to dishes as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a North Indian Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel.

• Extensive knowledge of North Indian cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques.

• Proficiency in using traditional cooking equipment, such as tandoors.

• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
