NPD Engineer in Embedded Software and Hardware Development (2-3 Years Experience)
Responsibilities
- Product Development: Assist in the design, development, and testing of embedded systems and hardware for new products.
- Firmware Development: Write, debug, and optimize embedded software in C/C++ or other relevant languages.
- Hardware Prototyping: Collaborate in creating hardware prototypes, including PCB design, component selection, and circuit testing.
- Embedded Systems Testing: Conduct functional, performance, and integration tests on embedded systems.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with mechanical, electrical, and software teams for product integration and troubleshooting.
- Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, schematics, and specifications for designs.
- Problem-solving: Debug and resolve hardware and software issues during the product lifecycle.
- Standards Compliance: Ensure product designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Project Support: Assist with new product introduction (NPI), managing timelines, resources, and delivering milestones.
Skills -
- Embedded C/C++, microcontrollers, sensors, and wireless
communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, ZigBee, GSM).
- PCB design tools, circuit analysis, and hardware debugging techniques.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Basic knowledge of product compliance (EMC, safety).
