About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse – Recovery / PACU to join our Operating Theatre team on a full-time basis. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will play a vital role in ensuring high levels of patient care.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing safe and quality care, supporting and liaising with the Perioperative Services Manager, staff, and VMO anaesthetist, while maintaining knowledge of legislative requirements, ACORN, and sterilization standards.
This position requires excellent clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and customer service abilities. You must possess a sound understanding of quality patient care principles and be committed to delivering exceptional outcomes.
Key Qualifications
Current registration with AHPRA
Previous experience in a CN / Recovery / PACU role or similar team leader position
Completed relevant postgraduate qualification or commitment to commence within 12 months of appointment
Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Highly organized and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
