Job Summary

The ARF/RhD Clinical Nurse will play a key role in supporting our organisation to increase workforce capacity and implement strategies that are culturally responsive, evidence-based, and sustainable.

This position will be responsible for embedding standardised processes for ARF/RHD management including staff training, prevention activities, clinical care, and care coordination of people living with RhD.

Key Responsibilities

You will contribute to the development and implementation of culturally responsive ARF/RHD strategies that improve health outcomes for Aboriginal people.

You will work closely with the RhD Program Coordinator and other team members to embed standardised processes for ARF/RHD management.

A strong understanding of ARF/RHD management and prevention
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to cultural responsiveness and patient-centred care
