We are seeking a dedicated Nurse to join our team at Podar Education Network's Worli location. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of work experience. The successful candidate will provide essential medical care within our educational environment and be a key asset in maintaining student and staff health.
Qualifications And Skills
• Medical Knowledge (Mandatory skill), including patient care and emergency response.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
• Strong time management abilities to balance multiple tasks efficiently.
• Experience in critical care nursing, demonstrating the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Proficiency in general nursing practices to support the health and well-being of our school community.
• Experience in nursing education to teach and guide others as needed.
• Familiarity with the role of a school nurse to meet the unique healthcare needs in an educational setting.
• Experience in the education sector will be an added advantage, helping to understand school protocols and environments.
Roles And Responsibilities
• Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff when needed.
• Conduct health screenings and maintain accurate health records for all students.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as per medical guidelines.
• Implement health and wellness programs to promote a healthy school environment.
• Collaborate with educational staff to ensure students' health needs are met during their academic activities..
• Advise and educate the school community on health-related issues, best practices, and preventive care.
