About the role

As an emergency nurse practitioner you’ll hold a pivotal role in meeting our goal of ‘healthier rural people & thriving communities’ in a fast paced and varied environment.

This exciting opportunity at Orange Health Service, offers the opportunity to expand your skills and fast track your career through gaining a breadth of experience that takes years to achieve in larger facilities. You will be well supported and have the opportunity to operate at the top of your scope of practice.

Providing high quality, evidence based care at an advanced and extended nursing level, you will have the autonomy to deliver flexible and responsive care, whilst working together with other health care professionals as part of the team.

You will be a board endorsed nurse practitioner with extensive experience and qualification at masters level or equivalent in this specialty. You’ll have a high level of confidence and clinical proficiency in carrying out a range of procedures, treatments and interventions, can apply extended practice competencies within a scope of practice and critically appraise and integrate relevant research findings in decision making about health care management and patient interventions.
