Responsibilities
• Care Provision
• Administer medications and tracheotomy care as needed
• Monitor oxygen saturation and ventilator equipment
• Provide hands-on nursing care and support to children with complex medical needs
• Collaboration
• Work effectively with staff, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
• Foster open communication and collaboration to ensure seamless care delivery
• Education
• Teach children about health topics such as needle safety and physiology
• Support families in advocating for their child's educational needs
• Administration
• Update records and forms accurately and efficiently
• Conduct narcotic med counts and maintain accurate inventory
Requirements
• Valid practicing license in good standing (SALPN, CRNS, or RPNA)
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric experience preferred
• Up-to-date First Aid, CPR Level BLS certification
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
