Successful completion of a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree from a professional nursing educational program or related medical science field;
At least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks:Assesses and evaluates organizational compliance with established accreditation standards; serves as a liaison to external quality improvement organizations; and collaborates with medical staff leadership and the Medical Executive Committee to support the peer review process
At least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Develops corrective action plans and sustainability measures to address compliance deficiencies; serves as subject matter expert for regulatory standards and accreditation content; provides technical assistance with development of peer review tools and process that support compliance with continual survey readiness

Responsibilities
This position serves as the Quality Assurance Nurse Advisor for the Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC) and has the primary responsibility for Continual Survey Readiness activities of Inter Cycle Monitoring (ICM), Patient Tracers, and maintenance of the Quality Dashboard metrics

Summary
