Norwest Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Day Surgery team. As a key member of the multi-disciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high levels of patient care and safety.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering evidence-based nursing care and patient-centered care to patients in the Day Surgery unit. This will involve liaising with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery, ensuring patient and staff safety, and supervising and directing enrolled nurses to deliver patient care.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year acute DSU/surgical care experience (Cardiac experience highly regarded)
Authority to Work in Australia
Working with Children check (if relevant)
Previous experience in a Day Surgery Unit or a surgical ward setting
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
