Job Description: Nurse Trainee
Location: Highway Hospital, Thane, Maharashtra
Department: Nursing
Highway Hospital is looking for dedicated and compassionate Nurse Trainees to join our healthcare team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for aspiring nurses to gain hands-on experience, develop their skills, and contribute to providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
1. Patient Care:
• Assist in providing quality care to patients under the supervision of senior nurses and medical staff.
• Monitor patients' vitals, administer medications, and support daily hygiene needs as per the care plan.
• Coordinate with other healthcare providers to ensure a seamless patient care experience.
2. Learning and Development:
• Actively participate in on-the-job training and workshops to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
• Understand and adhere to hospital protocols and patient safety guidelines.
• Develop proficiency in handling medical equipment and maintaining accurate patient records.
3. Operational Support:
• Provide support in OPD, IPD, ICU, and OT areas as required, learning the dynamics of each department.
• Assist in inventory management for medical supplies and ensure proper sterilization of equipment.
4. Communication and Collaboration:
• Engage with patients and their families to provide emotional support and clear communication about care processes.
• Collaborate effectively with doctors, senior nurses, and other healthcare professionals to promote holistic patient care.
Requirements
Education:
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (either completed or pursuing).
Experience:
• Freshers are encouraged to apply.
Skills:
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
• Attention to detail in clinical tasks and documentation.
