Job Summary
The Central Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking an experienced and dedicated Associate Nurse Unit Manager to lead our Oncology Day Centre team. About the Role:
Provide expert nursing guidance and support to patients and staff
Lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver consistent and high-quality care
Collaborate with clinicians to implement practice changes and improve service management
Supervise less experienced staff, promote their development, and ensure continuity of care
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective teamwork
Maintain accurate records, including performance metrics and quality improvement initiatives
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to enhance patient care and safety
Recruit, train, and manage staff to meet the needs of the service
About You:
Hold current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
Have minimum 3 years post-registration experience or current classification as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife
Possess strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
Be able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and manage workloads independently
