About us
We are seeking a friendly, warm , passionate and skilled Cook who enjoys cooking for young children in a Nursery. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing delicious meals for the children ensuring they enjoy high-quality delicious meals.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following recipes and presentation specifications
- Ensure food safety standards are met at all times during food preparation and storage
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance menu offerings
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cook in a Nursery or educational setting
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Understanding of kitchen operations and equipment
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Certification in Food Hygiene/Safety
