Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients
Cook and assemble dishes according to specified recipes and standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
Prepare ingredients and components for meal service, ensuring timely delivery during busy periods
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment
Serve meals to customers in a courteous and professional manner when required
Support the team during peak hours by managing multiple tasks efficiently
Experience
Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, is desirable but not mandatory
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is advantageous
Experience with meal preparation and kitchen operations will be beneficial
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential
Enthusiasm for learning new culinary techniques and developing professional skills
