Footsteps is a state-of-the-art setting based in Wilmslow. As a result of the increasing interest in the nursery we now have openings for Early Years Bank Staff.

To be successful in this role you need:
A knowledge of how children develop and how to get the best out of them.
A calm and nurturing personality that inspires and encourages a child to have confidence in themselves.
To be able to work well within a team environment.
To have a real love of working with children and to be young at heart yourself.
To have the ability to read a book upside down and back to front with 101 interruptions but still wear a smile on your face.
To have the magic skills that make children believe you really do have eyes in the back of your head.
To never bat an eye when you are asked to be a Dinosaur or a Princess but instead embrace the challenge and be the best Dinosaur or Princess you can be.
To be able to sing a repertoire of songs, not essentially in tune or even with the right words, but always with enthusiasm.
To be able to laugh at jokes you don’t truly understand.
To appreciate the variety of conversations you will be having….yes, they really did say that!
To accept you may go home with blotches on your clothes that in the past may have caused a panic attack but now are a memory which makes you smile.
To have the ability to see the world through the eyes of our little people and endeavor to create magical moments that remain in their memories for a lifetime.

Hours of work will be flexible, dependent upon both your needs and the needs of the Nursery and will operate between our normal opening hours, these being 7.30am - 6pm Monday through to Friday
