Job Description
The major responsibility of the teachers will be to teach small kids how to perform experiments related to STEAM. Besides being knowledgeable about an experiment, they need to be able to communicate and demonstrate it properly to kindergarten to primary school children.Their goal is to explore scientific problems by putting a child’s sense of wonder at the forefront.In addition to students, they must be able to interact with parents, other teachers, and school administrators.Assist in marketing activities for Kide Science - Science days in local communities, social media, SEO, offline eventsImprove existing curriculum and come up with new lesson plansAssist the sales team in interacting with the parents to answer the doubts, and provide feedback on a child’s performanceAssist the operations team with respect to procuring the material for the center and helping tie up with new centersParticipate in teacher recruitment and training drives
Two Trainer Model
Each batch is taught by two trainers -
One trainer should be proficient in handling young children (3 to 8 yr olds)One trainer should be proficient in experiment related skills
Prior Experience & Qualifications:
Freshers / College Students / Pre Nursery or Middle School Teachers / BPed / Science Teachers
The teacher must be young, energetic, child-friendly and passionate about STEAM.Must have strong English speaking and listening skills.Must have the patience to deal with young children.Prior teaching experience, especially with young children (age 3-8) is preferredSTEAM background is preferred (but not required) - involvement with any science related activity up to even grade 10 is sufficient. We will provide the training.
Full-Time timings and Engagement:
Full-timers will work from +:30 am to 7:30pm,Mondays and alternate Sundays are off
Part-Time timings and Engagement:
Each half-day is 4 hours. This hiring is for after school activities. The class timings will be:-- Monday to Saturday: 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm and Saturday & Sunday: +:30 am to 1:30 pmPart-time candidates will be required for at least 6 half-days per week (24 half-days a month).
