About The Role
You will be working at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. The hospital has a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.

The successful applicant will possess a demonstrated motivation and capacity to support the CRGH Nursing Executive progress all aspects of the Nursing Service at CRGH. With a key supportive focus in managing operational and quality initiatives such as Hospital acquired complications as directed by the Nursing Executive with the aim of ensuring that efficient and effective utilisation of nursing and other resources is achieved and maintained.

Ideal Candidate
Current Registered Nurse) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with extensive post registration experience.
Hold or working towards relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience or a combination of study and work experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability in successfully negotiating conflict situations and performance management issues.
Demonstrated high level organisational and prioritisation skills and ability to assist in the management of resource issues.
A demonstrated understanding of issues impacting on the provision of Nursing services.
An understanding of Facility and Local Health District policies that impact on the day-to-day coordination of Nursing services.
Nursing Unit Manager experience or demonstrated progress towards a management career path.
All candidates must have full working rights within Australia.
