Job Description
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily activities.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with hospital policies.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical staff.
- Educate patients and their families about their healthcare needs, treatments, and medications.
- Assist in emergency medical situations, including performing CPR and administering first aid as needed.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and nursing practices.
- Maintain professional knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training opportunities.
- Uphold ethical and professional standards of nursing practice at all times.
