Job Description
• Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing medical procedures as required.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients.
• Administer prescribed medications, injections, and intravenous (IV) therapies.
• Assist with diagnostic tests, medical procedures, and minor surgeries as directed by physicians.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking medical histories and recording symptoms.
• Monitor patient progress, noting changes in condition, and reporting significant findings to the healthcare team.
• Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust care plans.
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
• Address patient concerns and answer questions regarding care and treatment.
