Job Description
Provide individualized tutoring sessions to nursing students in various subject areas, including anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, pediatric nursing, and more
Assess students' learning needs and develop customized lesson plans to address their strengths and weaknesses
Clarify difficult concepts and reinforce understanding through guided practice and interactive learning activities
Assist students with exam preparation, including reviewing course materials, practicing NCLEX-style questions, and developing test-taking strategies
Offer guidance and advice on study skills, time management, and effective learning strategies
Monitor students' progress and provide ongoing feedback to promote improvement and mastery of content
Collaborate with other tutors and academic support staff to develop resources and workshops for nursing students
Stay current with trends and best practices in nursing education and incorporate innovative teaching methods into tutoring sessions
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in nursing required; master's degree preferred
