Ahiravata Motors is seeking a skilled NX Helper with strong foundational knowledge in CAD/CAM and practical machining concepts. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Siemens NX (specific company version) and capable of supporting advanced modeling and assembly tasks, particularly for precision engineering applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work proficiently in our specific version of Siemens NX.
• Understand and apply inch/metric conversions effectively in modeling.
• Ensure proper clearance considerations, such as air escape in blind holes for dowel pin alignment.
• Interpret and implement holding pin vs. slip fit relationships across mating parts.
• Support CAD/CAM workflows with basic machining knowledge.
• Understand and assist in programming/visualizing for 5-axis machining, including why and when 5-axis is required.
• Convert multi-unit part files into structured assembly files as per project needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience with Siemens NX (especially in a production or design environment).
• Familiarity with GD&T, mechanical tolerancing, and fits.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and CNC machining.
• Ability to read technical drawings and apply practical engineering concepts.
• Organized and capable of managing files and assemblies efficiently.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in automotive or high-precision engineering industry.
• Exposure to multi-axis CAM setups and post-processing.
