Job description
StoneX is recruiting a Senior Associate in our Document Review team . As Associate you will support the Company’s in-house law department customers with incident response, litigation document review and eDiscovery in on-going complex litigations and regulatory investigations.
Specifically, the Senior Associate - eDDR - Document Review will
• Review documents for relevance to the case, privileged, and special concepts as per customer instructions.
• Review documents for legal and/or factual relevance to the case/investigation, legal privilege, and special (matter-specific) concepts as per customer instructions.
• Responsible for delivery of document review services in Litigation Solutions for global delivery centers
• Review, QC, and QA huge volumes of complex litigation documents with the highest productivity and accuracy.
• Identify and assess the impact of the application of review guidelines on documents.
• Ensure adherence to Company standard operating procedures on projects.
• Draft decision logs and make timely escalations.
• Attend all mandatory training and certification courses and proactively undertake non-mandatory trainings.
• Manage the workflow of each matter and maintain a common understanding of the subject matter.
• Provide protocol training to the team.
Experience
• 3 years minimum experience working with large law firms or corporate legal departments.
• Prior experience with document review, eDiscovery (Relativity), and incident response.
Technical Skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Experience working on review tools like Relativity
Qualifications
• Bachelor's/ Master's degree in law- minimum 6 years experience legal experience.

SCOPE OF WORK:-
This position will be responsible for taking care of PAN India Contract Management including

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Contract Drafting Review & Negotiation:
✓ Ensure contract execution activities are completed as per the timeline. Negotiate contracts to minimize risks and maximize legal rights and contractual entitlements and benefits. Anticipate issues estimate risks strategically and help the relevant department.
✓Preparing a repository for existing legal contracts and documents including assistance in executions.
✓ Review of a new contract for change in Laws/compliances, if found any gaps need to be implemented immediately.
✓A new contract template is to be developed as per the Business requirements.
✓ Ensure all the Agreements/Contracts are legally correct and there are no jeopardizing facts in the document.
✓Ensure Legal verifies all the Agreements/Contracts before signatures of authorized signatory.
• Contract Management System:
✓To keep track of all contracts getting executed and ensure that the Business team is uploading them on the Contract Management tool. Agreement renewal should be on or before the End date. ✓If any agreement/Contract is not renewed - Legal to take the mail confirmation from the concerned Business team before the End date.
• Legal Knowledge Upgradation :
✓Keep abreast of legislative changes and trends in the corporate & Medico-legal industry and those that affect business. Performing extensive Due Diligence/Compliance Checks with all relevant information.
✓Ensure all due diligence and compliance searches are completed on time.
• Advisory Function:
✓To give advisory to various business teams/departments on legal issues. Assist HOD in various legal advisory work as may be assigned.
✓Assist management in interpreting situations that warrant legal involvement.
