We’re seeking a hands-on Observability Engineer to join our growing Observability division. This role is pivotal in driving our transformation toward a simplified, predictive, and proactive monitoring ecosystem. You’ll work across a modern observability stack, leveraging tools like Elastic (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Splunk, and Atlassity to build scalable solutions that surface meaningful metrics, detect anomalies, and reduce noise.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain observability solutions using Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Splunk, and related technologies.
Develop and deploy machine learning models to predict system behaviour and prevent incidents.
Consolidate and simplify existing monitoring tools to reduce complexity and improve efficiency.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to define key metrics, error tracking, and saturation thresholds.
Build dashboards and alerts that provide actionable insights into system performance and reliability.
Drive observability best practices across the organization, ensuring systems are transparent, measurable, and resilient.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and Splunk.
Proficiency in coding/scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar) to automate observability workflows.
Experience with cloud-native environments and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
Familiarity with Atlassity or similar platforms.
Understanding of machine learning concepts applied to observability and anomaly detection.
Ability to translate complex system data into clear, actionable insights.
Passion for simplifying tooling and improving system transparency.
Nice to Have
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
Background in SRE or DevOps practices.
Knowledge of log aggregation, distributed tracing, and metrics collection frameworks.
