Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida
3 to 5 years of job-related experience in occupational medicine or acute care
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to learn and manipulate various on-line databases
Bachelor's degree
Knowledge in various areas of occupational health and Human resources
Ability to work autonomously with limited direct supervision
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Outstanding clinical skills and judgment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organization skills

Responsibilities
Product Support and Logistics Division
You may be assigned special assignments and to support the local Human Resources department’s strategy
You will serve as a highly skilled, autonomous occupational health nurse within the Corporate Medical Department, servicing stakeholders that may include Operations, EH&S, HR organizations, Compensation and Benefits and the Corporate Medical team
Delivery of comprehensive nursing services related to employee illness and injury
Function as an autonomous nurse with the ability to respond independently to the majority of clinical situations
Respond to and even lead on-site medical emergency response
Represent the Corporate Medical Department, its policies and strategy
Seek ways to innovate, improve and create best-in-class occupational medical practices
Provide case management services for employees on medical leave of absence from work
Act as the centralized repository for medical data and the HIPAA-compliant liaison
Support C+B and HR in the administration of various disability plans and payroll policies
Receive and critically evaluate medical documentation to determine the need for medical leave and the appropriateness of both medical restrictions and accommodations
Consult and provide feedback to employees and providers on evidence bases practice guidelines
Provide occupational support, health coaching and referrals to appropriate care
Assist occupational physicians in evaluating readiness for return-to-work
Compile and maintain accurate and complete records within appropriate database(s)
Serve as a member of the disability management team in the ongoing improvement of the case management processes
Provide appropriate referrals for regulatory compliance with Family Medical Leave Act and Americans with Disabilities Act
On call requirement- one weekend a month and Monday evenings

The Occupational Health Nurse is an advanced nurse generalist applying clinical occupational nursing practices in large high-volume medical clinics, stand-alone focus facility medical stations or administrative office environments. You may be assigned special assignments and to support the local Human Resources department’s strategy.
