TEMPORARY FULL-TIME OCCUPATIONAL / PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT
$33.4+-$37.54 per hour
+ Benefits in Lieu + Pension
Summary
Works within a multidisciplinary team, which includes physiotherapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), nursing,
physicians, and Ontario Health at Home staff (i.e. Care Coordinators).
Qualifications
Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Assistant Diploma or equivalent.
Must possess the ability to relate to the clients in a tactful and sympathetic manner and to communicate
effectively with people at all levels when relaying or obtaining information.
Must have the physical ability to stoop, bend, and reach.
Must possess the ability to understand instructions and to exercise good judgment.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
French Language Service Designation: Bilingualism, English and French, is required. In accordance with
the French Language Services Plan, if no bilingual candidates (both internal and external) meet the
qualifications, unilingual candidates may be considered.
