Job Description
As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will support the delivery of high-quality patient care within a multidisciplinary hospital environment, working under the guidance of qualified Occupational Therapists.
Deliver delegated therapy programs (individual and group) and support patients with activities of daily living in line with care plans.
Assist with patient handling, transport, and the setup, monitoring, and maintenance of therapy equipment and resources.
Provide feedback to therapists on patient progress and contribute to accurate patient documentation and records.

Demonstrated ability to assist with therapy interventions and patient care under supervision, including manual handling tasks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, carers, and a multidisciplinary team.
Well-developed organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work within scope of practice.
Commitment to professional standards, including confidentiality, ethical practice, and continuous learning and development.
