ODM Developer

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
• 5+ years of related experience or equivalent overall experience typically gained through business rules programming experience
• Strong sense of ownership - Feeling of personal accountability for all areas in scope.
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to solve problems
• Experience in issue management and resolution
• Proficient in SQL programming
• Experience with end-to-end lifecycle of IBM Operational Decision Management (ODM) tool and worked across requirement understanding, analysis, design, build and rule deployment phases
• Knowledge on ODM V8.x or later, Rules Execution in Embedded mode, Unit Testing, Rules Debugging
• Experience in application development using Java or other program languages
• Exposure to Agile development methodology a major plus
• Strong analytical skills and writing skills, to include solid experience in writing functional and technical specifications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Credit card, Auto Finance and Risk Management experience is a plus
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
• Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
• Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
• Passionate about building an innovative culture
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages
• Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
