Position Summary
The Office Administrator plays a crucial role in the non-instructional functions of the school operations. As an integral part of the administrative team, this position makes key operational decisions and expertly manages school resources and staff for 4 institutional school programs and 1 Division program.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
maintaining all school financial systems including budget management, financial planning and controlling funds
preparing, analyzing and monitoring financial data to help guide management decisions
providing leadership and supervision to business support and custodial staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
coordinating maintenance of facilities in consultation with the Principal and Head Custodian to support safe and effective learning environments
developing, implementing and maintaining office and administrative systems and procedures
participating in the school leadership team, contributing to important administrative decisions that shape Institutional Services Schools and Aspen Program
Education/Qualifications
a diploma in a related field such as accounting or office administration
a minimum three years related experience, with a strong background in supervision
demonstrated proficiency with accounting systems and a solid understanding of accounting principles, financial operations, policies and procedures
strong analytical abilities
outstanding interpersonal, communication, writing and organizational skills
extensive knowledge of Division regulations and procedures
proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, PowerSchool, eBiz, Oracle, QuickBooks, Budget Planning System, Fee Management System, PeopleSoft
Rate of Pay
$50.++ - $65.21 per hour
