Summary

We are seeking a full-time Office Administrator to join our dynamic team at Bachly Construction. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment in support of our construction projects. The Office Administrator will contribute significantly to our mission by managing administrative tasks, reception and fostering effective communication within the team.

The Office Administrator role will be based out of our main office in Bolton at 27 Nixon Road.

The hours of work are Monday – Friday from 8:00am- 4:30pm.

Responsibilities:

Proficient administration of all clerical duties including data entry, typing, filing etc.

Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems to assist the Property Damage & Restoration Services Division

Assist with accounting administration of receivables and payables (basic accounting skills required for printing, sorting and costing invoices)

Collect carpenters time sheets bi-weekly to assist the payroll team

Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional and welcoming manner

Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier shipments

Maintain office supply storage area in a neat, orderly fashion and re-stock when necessary

General administrative duties as requested by the Office Manager

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years' work experience in a similar role within the Construction Industry

Exceptional customer service skills and telephone etiquette

Ability to work independently and take directions from others

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

The ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, & Outlook)

Experience with basic accounting functions is considered an asset
