Job Description
We're looking for a organized, dependable admin to join our finance team on a temporary basis. No formal accounting designation required. If you're comfortable with email, can make phone calls without breaking a sweat, and know your way around basic paperwork, we want to hear from you. This role is a great foot in the door, and for the right person, permanent employment and advancement within the company is absolutely on the table.
What You'll Be Doing
Sending and responding to emails and handling general office correspondence
Making outbound calls to customers regarding outstanding balances (friendly but persistent)
Processing basic accounts payable and receivable paperwork
Entering data into QuickBooks and Jobber (we can train the right person)
Assisting with payroll processing for hourly, salary, and commission staff
Filing, documentation, and keeping records tidy for our Controller
Supporting month-end tasks and general bookkeeping as needed
What We're Looking For
Comfortable on the phone and in email
Organized and accurate with data entry
Basic familiarity with QuickBooks and Excel is a bonus, not a dealbreaker
Someone who takes initiative and follows through
Works well independently and as part of a small team
