Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Office Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and organisation within our office environment. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming and hygienic workspace for all employees and visitors.
Responsibilities
• General Cleaning: Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors.
• Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitise restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure they are in hygienic condition.
• Surface Cleaning: Wipe down and sanitise surfaces, including desks, tables, counters, and light fixtures.
• Waste Management: Empty bins, properly dispose of waste, and replace liners.
• Window Cleaning: Clean interior windows and glass surfaces.
• Specialised Cleaning: Carry out deep cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning and polishing as needed.
• Equipment Care: Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies in good working order.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and report the need for additional cleaning supplies.
• Compliance: Follow safety protocols and cleaning procedures to ensure a safe environment.
• Customer Service: Respond to client or tenant requests and report any issues or damages noticed during cleaning
• Communal Areas Maintenance: Ensuring that tea, milk and sugar are refilled in all canteens and breakout areas.
• Ad-hoc duties: ironing of workwear ready for customer meetings.
• Awareness of company’s ISO 1+001, 14001 and 45001 accreditations, objectives, and requirements.
• Attend annual company training and refresher courses.
• To undertake travel to and from the company residence to perform cleaning duties as part of the role.
• Any additional task or duties requested by management.
Requirements
• Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
• Previous experience in a cleaning role is mandatory.
• Ability to drive may be advantageous for roles requiring travel between multiple sites.
