Stantec are working on some iconic and exciting projects and we are looking to grow our supportive and friendly administration team!
We are seeking an Office Assistant to join our Perth team.
This is a full-time role and you will provide assistance to a group of Project Engineers but also support administration team and staff in general.
This position is aimed at someone who is a proactive forward-thinker with some office administration experience. A positive outlook and strong work ethic as well as an ability to think outside the box are highly regarded. The successful applicant will need to be able to manage competing priorities, be self-motivated, resourceful and a great communicator.
Day To Day Tasks Would Involve
Assist with the coordination of events and functions
Co-ordinate meeting room reservations, resource bookings such as Teams conferences and arrange for catering for meetings, as appropriate
Arrange marketing events and catering for meetings
Arrange training sessions for buildings disciplines
Keep track of insurance certificate updates
Provide administrative support to the business, including printing, formatting, binding documents, as required
Assist with expense management, reconciliation and travel arrangements when required
Organise client party lists
Understand the importance of confidentiality and discretion
Oversee induction portals
Assist with the preparation and formatting of written and graphical elements of opportunity response documents such as proposals, qualifications, brochures, capability statements and presentations
Contribute to/assist with Pipeline, SMKC and project administration
Complete all work in line with Stantec Core Values and in accordance with the Stantec Quality, Safety & Environment Systems and Project Quality Procedures
Other Administrative duties as reasonably required
To Be Successful For This Role You'll Need
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – a high level of Word is required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team player
Ability to adapt to different situations and organise priorities autonomously to meet deadlines
Great organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Positive, can-do attitude
