Office Assistant
Island Foot Clinics is looking for someone who is interested in a part time position. There is some travel required for this position so candidates must have a drivers license and a road worthy car.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using Accuro software
- Maintain patient records and update medical records
- Assist with insurance verification and claims processing
- Handle walk in inquiries, and provide accurate information to patients
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the the office
- You will learn how to dispense orthotics
Requirements:
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and typing skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
You will be working with our Podiatrist and another MOA in Terrace and would be traveling once a month to Smithers and Prince Rupert .

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
