Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Office Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operations of our office. This is a full-time, office-based role in Perth, working 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
This is a leadership-style operations role where you will be responsible for ensuring the business runs efficiently, staff are performing effectively, and client service standards are consistently maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage day-to-day office operations to ensure smooth and efficient business functioning
Coordinate workflows across the team to ensure tasks, deadlines, and client matters are completed accurately and on time
Act as the central point of communication between management, consultants, clients, and external stakeholders
Oversee client onboarding, case progression, and ensure all compliance requirements are met
Maintain accurate, organised, and compliant client records and internal documentation
Monitor service delivery standards and implement process improvements where required
Manage and resolve client enquiries, escalations, and relationship management matters
Oversee invoicing, payment tracking, and liaise with external accountants/bookkeepers when required
Attend and represent Settlers at education fairs, expos, and other industry/public events
Build and maintain relationships with college and institutional representatives, including negotiation and management of commission agreements
Recruit, train, and onboard new staff as required
Assign duties to staff and monitor performance against KPIs and service expectations
Support team development, performance management, and operational efficiency
Ensure office systems, procedures, and workflows are continuously improved
What We’re Looking For
At least 1 year of proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar role, along with a minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Strong ability to manage people, processes, and priorities
Experience in education or migration sector (highly regarded)
Confident in staff supervision, training, and performance management
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
High attention to detail, particularly in compliance-driven environments
Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes
Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
