We are in need of an Office Manager/Optician for our growing and friendly practice located at Mount Royal University.
About Old Street Optometry:
We are a small but busy practice servicing university students, staff, and the surrounding community
We prioritize a fun and welcoming environment, with high expectations for providing the optimal patient experience
We’re closed weekends and evenings, providing healthy work-life balance
Key responsibilities:
Customer service, including education on appropriate lenses, frames, coatings, etc.
Patient check-in
Order, receive, and verify glasses and contacts orders
Dispense glasses and contacts
Frame adjustments
Process insurance claims
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Maintain and order product inventory
Meet with suppliers
Consult with optometrists as necessary
The ideal candidate will be an Optician with 5-10 years of optical experience.
Marketing experience would be considered an asset.
