ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to a parental leave vacancy, we have an exciting opportunity for an Office Coordinator to join our Community Cricket & Capability team on a fixed-term contract for up to 12 months.

This isn’t a regular receptionist position. It is a fast paced, dynamic role where every day is different. You will be the face of our Cricket Australia office and quickly become the go to person for all questions and assistance our staff may need during the cricket season.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Facility Planning & Management and based at our office in East Melbourne, you’ll be responsible for:

Office Administration

Assisting with finance-related administrative tasks (e.g. raising purchase orders, invoice processing and management)

Manage all incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries (including couriers)

Providing administration assistance to our Executive Team – e.g. booking travel, diary management and expense submissions

Coordinating meeting room bookings including setup, coordinating catering for meetings, pack down and troubleshooting AV/IT issues

Provide administrative support and oversight of CA’s Car Fleet to the Commercial Team

Oversee CA’s Building Security System, including programming of staff access fobs

Act as Deputy Fire Warden

Facilities Maintenance

Oversee and arrange the day-to-day management of office services and related contractor Agreements (e.g. office cleaning)

Provide support to the Senior Manager - Facility Planning and Management with the coordination and oversight of other building-related maintenance and repair works for example, plumbing, air conditioning/heating, electrical, building security, fire protection etc.

Contractor Management

Establish and maintain a contractor/vendor register

Assist with facility induction processes & compliance

Support both the Senior Manager, Facility Planning & Management and Senior WHS Lead in ensuring contractors onsite comply with relevant OHS requirements.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As the successful Office Coordinator, you’ll have the ability to problem and capacity to multi-task and pivot between priorities. You’ll also:

At least 2+ years’ experience in a similar role

An interest in office management and/or administration

Be available to work onsite Monday to Friday

Professional presence and awareness

Be willing to roll up your sleeves and get the job done

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Outstanding customer service skills

Strong organisation skills

Ability to build effective relationships across the business and with a range of stakeholders

Be technologically savvy

Have a passion for embracing new ways of working
